The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective professional activity in the field of optimal management of occupational safety at ships and vessels; developing responsibility for their personal and collective safety and being aware of the need for full compliance with all workplace safety measures.
The tasks of studying the discipline is to instil in the students the ability (competences) to effectively solve the problems arising in the course of professional activity, taking into account the requirements aimed at preserving the life, health and working capacity of seafarers.
